Frangy
Before joining Private Reality, Japanese producer Satoshi Fumi had already been quietly crafting his production skills. On Frangy, his chunky, funky beats contrast old-school piano keys and silky layers of synth stabs and atmospheric sound.
Paz
Spanish duo Clubbervision offers Paz, featuring idyllic sounds contrasting vintage Balearic sensibility with its sharp, raw drums. Madoka elevates the original by adding massive modulations, pulsating effects, and silky vocal bits to his remix.
Embedded
Madoka delivers an ethereal builder reminiscent of bygone techno years. “Embedded” perfectly captures early-90s rave emotions. This song is one of Madoka’s personal favorites.
Designate
Roel’s debut “Designate” on Private Reality Records rolls along while “As You Wish” tells a deeper, darker tale. Both songs showcase Roel’s amazing talent with these big room builders’ booming sounds.
Getting Closer
Getting Closer is a collection of seven beautifully orchestrated songs that perfectly capture the emotions of a long-lost dance era. Each track draws its inspiration from warm, wonderful, early ’90s house music vibes.
Afterburner
Madoka shines with this arena-sized weapon. Before its official release, “Afterburner” quietly cemented its reputation across dancefloors. During its testing phase, a copy of the original demo reached the hands of legendary producer and DJ Max Graham.
Unforeseen
“Unforeseen” was the first song released by an artist other than Madoka to appear on Private Reality. The song features cascading sounds that shine, shimmer, and glitter above banging beats, creating an ecstatic build-up. Madoka strips it down even further.
Distant Memories
As one of Private Reality’s most acclaimed releases, “Distant Memories” is an elegant musical journey. It features a strong foundation with percolating arpeggios, shimmering strings, and smooth vocal stabs rising. Paired perfectly with a Matthew Dekay remix.
Mass
Madoka’s “Mass” was released to critical acclaim. “Madoka gives us yet another taste of symphonic bliss. It’s beautiful music. The melodies alone take this to new heights.” – Chloe Harris
Coppola
Coppola was the much-anticipated debut release in 2002 that relaunched Private Reality Records into the global Progressive scene and won early support and fans for the label and Madoka.
Confessions of a DJ
The project that started it all! 500 copies of the EP were printed, self-distributed, and sold by Madoka himself and promoted at the 1999 Miami Winter Music Conference with the help of a longtime friend.
